Wes Wyatt is the chief meteorologist for WBRC-TV.
Wyatt earned his bachelor of science in meteorology at Mississippi State University in Starkville, and a master's in geography at the University of Alabama. He began his career at WTOK-TV in Meridian, Mississippi and later worked as chief meteorologist for WVUA-TV in Tuscaloosa for seven years while also teaching broadcast meteorology classes at the university. In 2010 he joined WBRC as a weekend meteorologist, assisting J-P Dice. After Dice resigned in July 2021 he assumed the role of chief meteorologist.
Wyatt is certified by the American Meteorological Society, and by the National Weather Association.
