The North Alabama Conference of the Global Methodist Church is a regional unit of the Global Methodist Church in the process of formation. The Global Methodist Church is a Protestant denomination launched on May 1, 2022, to provide an organization for congregations wishing to leave the United Methodist Church for a more conservative body.
The North Alabama Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church met in special session in Birmingham on December 10, 2022, and approve the disaffiliation requests of many congregations. Many Birmingham area congregations that disaffiliated remained independent. A few have identified as part of the Global Methodist Church. They include:
- Ashville First Methodist Church
- Christ Church (Methodist)
- Clearbranch Methodist Church
- Good Hope Methodist Church
- Hueytown First Methodist Church
- Jasper First Methodist Church
- Lester Memorial Methodist Church
- Leeds First Methodist Church
