Powderly Elementary School is an elementary school in the Birmingham City Schools system located at 1901 20th Street Southwest at the intersection of Dawson Avenue Southwest in the Powderly neighborhood. Formerly part of Jefferson County Schools, the school became part of the Birmingham system when the neighborhood was annexed into Birmingham in 1953-54. The principal is Andrea Gaines Wallace.
