Art's Old Fashioned Barber Shop is located at 3301 Crestwood Boulevard in Irondale. It was opened in 1933 by Art and Margaret Glidwell. The shop was purchased by Chuck Evans in 1993, and he was one of only a few barbers in the Birmingham area who still offered a straight-razor shave.
In 2014, the shop was purchased by Heidi Marimberga.
In 2020, she moved the shop from 2619 Crestwood Boulevard to 3301 Crestwood Boulevard and it reopened for business on January 7th of that year.
