The Wood Wade building was a former lumber mill and automobile warehouse at 1301 1st Avenue South.
The brick building, constructed in 1932, sat on the corner of 1st Avenue South and 14th Street South, near Railroad Park, Regions Field and Good People Brewing Company.
In 2013 the building was leased by Beer Engineers for a planned brewery and tap room. A public art project, entitled "Before I die, I want to...," was proposed for the east wall of the building.
The property was later purchased by Orchestra Partners. They demolished the building for a 72-space Parkside Parking Lot in 2018.
