The 1963 Alabama State Fair was held from September 30 to October 5, 1963 at the Alabama State Fairgrounds.
Special guests appearing at the Fair included Molly Bee, Chuck Connors, Joe E. Ross, Buster Keaton and the Warren Covington Big Band accompanying the "State Fair Revue". The Maid of Cotton was crowned on October 3 and "Midget Auto Racing" headlined the fairgrounds race track on closing day.
Missiles and rockets from Redstone Arsenal were displayed and $50,000 was handed out in prizes for agricultural and craft competitors.
