Blount Hall is an 8-story, 513-bed residence hall located at 1001 14th Street South on the campus of UAB. It was developed by the Capstone Development Corporation and completed in August 2001 at a cost of $18 million. The concrete-frame strcture was designed by PGAL Architects of Alexandria, Viriginia and constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie.
