The Homewood City Council is the legislative body for the city of Homewood. It is made up of two representatives from each of five wards. One representative is then elected President of the Council. The council meets in the evenings on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.
2016
As of the 2016 election the council is made up of:
- President: Peter Wright (October 2019-), formerly Bruce Limbaugh (2016-resigned October 4, 2019)

- Ward 2, Place 1: Mike Higginbotham
- Ward 2, Place 2: Andrew Wolverton
