Creature (formerly Appleseed Workshop) is a design/build architecture and construction firm founded in 2005 by Auburn University graduates Ben Strout and Mike Gibson. The firm has offices at 409 Richard Arrington Jr Boulevard South. It specializes in renovating existing spaces using reclaimed and locally-fabricated materials and fixtures.
In January 2017 Appleseed Workshop merged with Golden Construction. The combined firm marketed its design services as "Golden Appleseed". In 2018 the firm rebranded as "Creature".
