Ash Neighborhood Bar & Grill was a 1,900-square foot restaurant located in the Westwood retail strip across from Patriot Park at the corner of Oak Grove Road and Raleigh Avenue in West Homewood. It was created by Mark Driskill, a former sous chef at Highlands and kitchen manager at Bottega who has also worked at Brick & Tin and Time Inc..
Driskill chose the name to refer to the wood-fired grill which will be used in the creation of each dish, as well as for his wife, Ashley. In addition to lunch and dinner, the restaurant will serve a weekend brunch and offer picnic packages with a basket and blanket that customers can take across the street to the park.
The restaurant was sold to Giani Respinto, the owner of Gianmarco’s in August 2022. Ash's last day of business was August 20.
