Taj India is an Indian restaurant owned and operated by Aman and Navneet Judge. It is part of a family-owned chain that also has locations in California. The Birmingham restaurant opened in the mid 1990s in the Highland Plaza shopping center at 2226 Highland Avenue.

The restaurant remained open after the shopping center was purchased by an affiliate of Daniel Corporation and survived the COVID-19 pandemic with a successful curbside operation. In the summer of 2023 it was forced to relocate as the property owner developed a luxury apartment complex on the site.
