Crestway Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist church located at 6400 Crestwood Boulevard near the Crestwood Festival Center. Jimmy Wilson is pastor.
The church was founded on July 1, 1945 as Grand Avenue Baptist Chapel with 17 members. It met initially at 5120 5th Avenue South (which was once named "Grand Avenue." It changed its name to Woodlawn Highlands Baptist Church on May 26, 1946 when it moved a few blocks away to a building at 508 51st Street South in Woodlawn Highlands. It also had an annex at 5009 5th Avenue South.
Construction of the present church began in March 1959, it was designed by Lawrence Whitten of Lawrence Whitten & Son. The first unit was occupied on August 17, 1959.
The church is a member of the Birmingham Metro Baptist Association.
Since circa 2019, Immanuel Church Birmingham has held its worship gatherings at this church.
