The UAB Biomedical Research and Psychology Building is a planned 6-story, 165,000 square-foot on Block 238, on the present site of UAB Parking Lot 5A, on the northwest corner of 16th Street South and University Boulevard. It will house the UAB Department of Psychology along with six floors of research labs for the UAB Heersink School of Medicine. A pedestrian bridge over 16th Street will connect to Volker Hall.
