Marjorie "Margie" Orr Carter (born c. 1924 - died November 17, 2009) was an elementary school teacher and former Miss Birmingham.
Orr graduated from Howard College and sang soprano. She was crowned winner of the 1948 Miss Birmingham pageant and competed alongside Miss Alabama Martha Ann Ingram in the Miss American contest in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She and her husband, Henry Carter raised four children, after which she returned to teaching.
