The Alabama Phoenix Festival is a science, fiction, comic book, and science convention taking place Memorial Day weekend (May 2527, 2012) at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center. The festival was founded by Steve Charleson and Tim Stacks in 2011.

The primary goal of the festival is to foster the exchange of creative ideas. The inaugural Alabama Phoenix Festival featured a live performance of H. G.
