Sherman Heights Elementary School was a Birmingham City Schools elementary school for grades 1-8 located at 2000 Pleasant Hill Road, off Birmingport Road in Birmingham's Sherman Heights neighborhood.
The Birmingham Board of Education purchased an existing wood-framed school from U.S. Steel in the early 1960s. In 1966 they approved construction of a new building for 450 students. The one-story, square brick-clad building included 11 regular classrooms, art and science rooms, and a multi-purpose room with a kitchen. Fred Renneker Jr was the architect.
