J. T. Moore (born c. 1988) represents District 4 on the Birmingham City Council. He is a member of Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham and former staffer for Alabama Possible, the A. G. Gaston Boys and Girls Club, and the Woodlawn Foundation.
Moore grew up in Ensley and attended Tuskegee University, the University of West Alabama, and UAB.
Moore defeated incumbent William Parker in a runoff in the 2021 Birmingham municipal election. As a candidate he pledged to empower citizens and strengthen neighborhood associations through development of community spaces and block watch programs.
