Louis Schillinger
Frederick Louis Schillinger (born 1861 in Louisville, Kentucky; died June 30, 1921 in Birmingham) was general manager of the Schillinger Brewing Co.'s Birmingham Brewery.
Schillinger trained at the Moerlein Brewing Company in Cincinnati, Ohio before returning to the Phoenix Brewery in Louisville as foreman. He came with his brothers and their father, Philip Schillinger to Birmingham in the 1880s and began operating the city's largest brewery.
Schillinger was married to the former Hannah Elsa Conradi of Cincinnati. They voyaged to Puerto Limón, Costa Rica in 1914, aboard the S. S. Cartago from New Orleans. They lived at 2766 Hanover Circle in 1920. He died in Birmingham in 1921 and is buried at Elmwood Cemetery.
