Should Jack's be put in the Category:19th Street Homewood or even just Category:Downtown Homewood businesses? Or, more generally, how should local chains be treated? (Milo's Hamburgers would be another to keep in mind.) While in Jack's case the chain started with a restaurant in Homewood that still happens to be there, Jack's corporate HQ is not in downtown Homewood (but rather west Homewood). Categorizing a chain using all the locations seems overboard, but should the original location of a local chain be a special case? Should they instead or also be categorized by the current location of their headquarters? --Lkseitz 10:24, 5 September 2006 (PDT)
- I haven't been consistent myself. For Etheridge Brothers Barber & Style I just used the original location, but for Green Acres Cafe I categorized by all the locations (which is probably most appropriate for something with only 2 or 3 locations, max.). In this case, I think I'd just go with the HQ location, try to list all the other locations in the article, and perhaps expand the section on the original location into a separate article. At this point I don't think there's a wrong answer. --Dystopos 11:50, 5 September 2006 (PDT)
