Riverside Baptist Church

Riverside Baptist Church is a Baptist church located 925 Depot Street in Riverside and affiliated with the St Clair Baptist Association. Ken Maddox is pastor.

On June 20, 2024 the building was heavily damaged by a fire caused by a vehicle which crashed into the church. The driver, Anthony Banks Jr, died in the incident. Three days later, Banks' girlfriend, Jennefer L. Arellano-Maldonado, crashed into the same church while fleeing from police, and also died.
