Eugene Brown Erwin Middle School is a middle school in the Jefferson County Schools system, located at 532 23rd Avenue Northwest in Center Point. Originally built as E. B. Erwin High School and serving grades 7-12, it was changed over for grades 6-8 after the completion of Center Point High School in 2011. Enrollment in 2007 was 1,216. The principal is Van Phillips.
Erwin High School's athletics programs compete in AHSAA Class 5A, Region 5. The teams are called the Eagles, and the school's colors are red, white and blue. The school produced state championships in wrestling in 1992 and 1999 and the varsity football team won regional championships in 1980, 1988, 1989, 1995, 1996, and 1997.
