The DoubleTree by Hilton Perimeter Park (originally the Sheraton Perimeter Park South, and later Hilton Birmingham Perimeter Park) is an 8-floor, 205-room hotel and conference center located at 8 Perimeter Park South, adjacent to the Colonnade at the intersection of I-459 and U.S. Highway 280. The hotel includes a full-service restaurant, fitness center, an outdoor pool, a courtyard, and a conference facility accommodating groups as large as 600.

The hotel was developed by Cory Jackson of Jackson Hospitality Services. It opened on December 26, 1984 as an affiliate of the ITT Sheraton group of hotels with 209 rooms. In 1986 the hotel's restaurant was called Woodlands.

In 2002 the hotel, owned by RFS Hotel Investors and operated by Flagstone Hospitality, both of of Memphis, Tennessee, rebranded under a franchise agreement with the Hilton Hotels Corporation. After a $1.5 million renovation, the hotel reopened as the Hilton Birmingham Perimeter Park on January 9, 2003. At the time, the property was managed by Craig Hulford, and the hotel's J. Paul's restaurant was led by chef Ted Roman. RFS was acquired by the Orlando, Florida based CNL Hospitality Properties in May 2003.

In 2016 the hotel's restaurant was called Steele's. That year the Atlanta, Georgia-based Peachtree Hotel Group purchased the facility for $13.25 million and announced plans for a $10.5 million renovation and re-branding.
