Federal Bake Shop was a bake shop and deli, owned and operated by Walt Marchand and Belinda Marchand at Century Plaza from the mall's opening in 1975 until 1984.

The business was known for its homemade bread, cookies (chocolate chip, peanut butter, sugar and oatmeal raisin), petit fours, pizza and hot sandwiches on freshly made rolls. Cake decorating was a big part of this business. On an average Saturday, cake decorating would begin around 3:30 AM and produce a couple hundred special order cakes before noon with Belinda Marchand being one of the primary cake decorators. This store was also known for their delicious buttercream icing recipe. On an average Saturday this store would service over a thousand customers many of which enjoy one of their delicious cookies. For several years Tom Kirkpatrick was the night manager at this bake shop.

The store was located on the upper level of Century Plaza across from Rich's and just a few stores from center court. When Century Plaza opened Federal Bake Shop and Chick-fil-a were some of the most visited spots for lunch, treats and drinks in the mall.
