1. Lonnie Noojin and Farley Moody coached Alabama to a 2–2 record while an ill Kelly missed four games in 1915.
2. Jimmy Fuller served as interim coach before Curry was hired.

4. Kines was named interim coach for the 2006 Independence Bowl after Mike Shula was fired.
5.Steve Sarkisian served as interim coach for the 2020 Iron Bowl after Saban tested positive for COVID-19.
