Bama Environmental News (BEN) is a free weekly e-mail newsletter covering environmental issues in the state of Alabama. It has been published since 1988 by Birmingham environmental consultant Pat Byington.

In addition to the weekly news, the BEN website keeps archives of past issues, provides links to local, regional and national environmental groups and resources, local and statewide media outlets, government resources, job postings and environmental quotes.
