Bonanza Sirloin Pit

Bonanza Sirloin Pit is a chain of steakhouse restaurants which once had at least four locations in the Birmingham area: 501 21st Street South, 1591 Montgomery Highway in Hoover, 1600 Center Point Parkway, and 1501 Bessemer Road in Bessemer. The chain was started in 1963 by Dan Blocker, who played "Hoss" on the TV series Bonanza. All Alabama locations are now closed, but some remain in other states across the eastern US.
