The Brighton Fire Department is a volunteer fire-fighting service operated by the City of Brighton. The chief is Sebastian Carillo. Since June 2010 the department has operated from a modern, two-bay dedicated Brighton Fire Station located at 1216 Woodward Avenue between Main Street and Huntsville Avenue. The department formerly shared a garage with the Brighton Police Department.

The department's main fire engine was donated by the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service in April 2010, after freezing weather damaged the water pumps of the city's former engine.
