Chalkville Elementary School is a K-5 elementary school in the Jefferson County Schools system. It is located at 940 Chalkville School Road west of Old Springville Road and Five Mile Creek in Center Point.
Rod Johnson is the principal. The school's colors are blue and white, and its mascot is the cougars.
William Bevis, a crossing guard, was struck and killed outside the school in 2006. A "Safe Routes to Schools" grant was awarded to fund construction of new sidewalks, but complications led to delays and the walkways were not completed until 2015.
The school's enrollment reached about 1,300 in 2019. Around 500 of those students were transferred to the new Bryant Park Elementary School in Clay in 2020.
