The Stations of the Cross is a traditional Christian devotion focused on Jesus' crucifixion. Most often celebrated inside Catholic churches, sometimes it takes the form of outdoor processions on Good Friday
Annual outdoor processions marking the Stations of the Cross (also known as the Way of the Cross) in the Birmingham area on Good Friday include:
- A procession in Homewood from Homewood Central Park to Edgewood Presbyterian Church, sponsored by many Homewood churches held annually since 1995.
- A procession in downtown Birmingham from Linn Park to other sites, sponsored by St Luke's Episcopal Church held annually since at least the mid-2010s.
