Ty West (born c. 1983) is a senior editor for national content for the Charlotte, North Carolina-based American City Business Journals, publisher of the Birmingham Business Journal. Prior to accepting that position in 2021, West served as an associate editor, managing editor, and editor-in-chief of the Birmingham Business Journal.
West earned his bachelor of arts in journalism at the University of Alabama in 2005. While in school he worked as a reporter for the Florence, Lauderdale County-based TimesDaily. He began working at the Business Journal in 2006.
