Savage's Bakery & Deli is located at 2916 18th Street South in Homewood near The Curve.
Savage's was originally opened by William Savage in downtown Birmingham in 1939. In 1947, the bakery was one of the original tennants of Mountain Brook's Crestline Heights Shopping Center. It moved to its current location in the 1950s. It has been owned by Van Scott since 1978.
