Hoover Fire Station No. 9 is a planned fire station for the Hoover Fire Department located on Legacy Drive in the Greystone Legacy subdivision. Ground was broken for the $1.24 million project on March 27, 2008. Red Mountain Associates is the general contractor and completion is expected in 2008.

Hoover Fire Chief Tom Bradley expects to equip the the new station one fire truck and to staff it with 11 firefighters. The truck will carry emergency medical equipment and at least one paramedic on all calls.
