The Alabama Conference of the Wesleyan Methodist Church was the regional unit of the Wesleyan Methodist Church encompassing the Birmingham area prior to the 1968 merger of the Wesleyan Methodist Church with the Pilgrim Holiness Church to form the Wesleyan Church. After the merger, Alabama congregations became part of the new denomination’s Mid-Gulf District.
