The Coffee Shoppe was a diner located at 404 Hollywood Boulevard in Birmingham. It opened in 1977 in a former Omelet Shoppe location and stayed open, closing only on Sundays and Mondays, until it was purchased and was set to be demolished for the proposed Montelena condominium development in 2006. The condo project fell through, and the space is currently home to Over Easy.
