Metro Bank is a bank which opened on May 30, 1989 in Pell City. It was founded by Ray Cox, partly to provide loan services to entrepreneurs. The bank expanded to nine locations, including three in Pell City and one each in Ragland, Lincoln, Heflin, Ashville, Moody and Southside. Future branches are planned for Springville and Odenville.
