Pelham City Hall

Pelham City Hall is houses the City Council chambers and municipal offices for the City of Pelham. It is located at 3162 Pelham Parkway (U.S. Highway 31), between Cummings Street and Philip Davis Street (formerly Church Street).

The present building was constructed in 1975 on the site of the WPA-built Pelham School, which had served as the first city hall. The school was relocated to the new Valley Elementary School in 1964, making the building available for city offices. It has been expanded with additional office space on the side and rear, totaling 20,000 square feet on three levels.

Mold was found in the building in early 2019, prompting the city to close the building and temporarily relocate staff and public meetings. Edmonds Engineering was awarded a contract to assess the scope and cost of remediation. The firm presented a range of options from basic remediation to full replacement of the building.

The City Council began holding its meetings at the Pelham Municipal Court in the Pelham Police Headquarters. The Mayor's offices and Pelham Building Department initially relocated to the Pelham Water Works, then moved to the former Automation Personnel Services building at 401 Southgate Drive in June.
