Wright was drafted by the New York Jets of the AFL in [[1964]] in the 8th round, and the Green Bay Packers of the NFL in the 5th round, and chose to go with the Packers.  Wright played for the Packers from [[1964]]-[[1967]].  The Packers won the NFL championship in [[1965]], and Super Bowls I and II during his tenure.  Wright went on to play for New York Giants ([[1968]]-[[1969]]), Washington Redskins ([[1970]]), Chicago Bears ([[1971]]), and the St. Louis Cardinals [[1972]]).
