Vance Moody (born c. 1964) is a metallurgist and represents Ward 2, Place 2 in the Homewood City Council.

Moody earned his bachelor of science in materials engineering at Auburn University in 1990. He worked at SMI Steel until 2001 and is currently a manager of product development and support for Kennametal Tricon.

Moody has served as a youth athletics coach, and was appointed to the Homewood Park Board in 2008. He was also a member of the Homewood City Schools Foundation and helped revive the West Homewood Neighborhood Association in 2005. He ran unopposed to fill the seat left vacant by Joe Falconer in the 2008 election.
