The Strip is a retail and nightlife district located immediately west of the University of Alabama campus centered along University Boulevard. Stretching roughly between Wallace Wade Avenue to the east and Reed Street to the west, The Strip has seen significant redevelopment over the last decade. The status of The Strip and its current establishments has come into question as the University continues to expand westward.
