Veenschoten & Company is a manufacturer's representative and industrial supplier for utilities, pulp and paper plants and petrochemical facilities. Its offices are located at 1900 Crestwood Boulevard in Irondale, with a branch office in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The firm was founded in 1953 by William Veenschoten, son of engineer, inventor and Northwestern Equipment Co. founder Vincent Veenschoten. Veenschoten & Company initially represented boiler products manufacturer Copes-Vulcan, which purchased Northwestern in 1955. The company soon added Fireye combustion controls to its portfolio.
Veenschoten & Company was formally incorporated in 1972. In December 1997 it was sold to Clyde Hunter and Ace Rickard.
