Colonial Promenade Alabaster is the second and southern half of a major two-part retail center at the intersection of U.S. Highway 31 and Interstate 65 (Exit 238) in Alabaster. The center is traversed by South Colonial Drive and bisected by South Colonial Parkway. The shopping center was developed by Colonial Properties Trust and constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie and Walter Schoel Engineering Company to architectural designs by Crawford McWilliams Hatcher Architects. It opened in July 2007, approximately two years after Phase I.
In late 2012, the larger Phase I of the shopping center was sold to Huntsville's Propst Properties and subsequently renamed Propst Promenade.
