Mt Pilgrim Baptist District Association is an organization of over 160 Black Baptist churches in the Birmingham area. The association, which is led by Robert Sellers as "moderator", is affiliated with the Alabama State Missionary Baptist Convention.
The Association is made up of five districts.
District Center
In 1978 it purchased the former Thirty-Fifth Avenue Baptist Church at 2500 35th Avenue North in North Birmingham to serve as its district center. It maintains its offices there. Over the years, various churches have used it for the regular Sunday services. The association has also hosted a variety of summer enrichment and other programs there.
