The 2008 SEC Baseball Tournament was held on May 21-25, 2008 at Regions Park. LSU won the tournament. This was the tournament's 11th consecutive year in Hoover and was played before crowds totaling ____.
The 2008 tournament featured a "flipped bracket" format for the first time. This means that after two days of play the undefeated team from each bracket moved into the other bracket for Round 4. This reduced the amount of rematches teams had to play in order to win the tournament.
