2007: Judge Allwin Horn held a hearing regarding Larry Langford's eligibility for the 2007 Birmingham mayoral election.
2007: Ivor Brooks became chief of the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service.
2006: Bobby Humphryes and Jim Carns were sworn into the Jefferson County Commission.
